The A Tempo Batajones are a cool hybrid instrument that blend the African Bata; (used intensely in Cuba) and the Peruvian drawer.

These decagonal instruments have a unique shape with wood patch design on both sides with a hole in the center like the Peruvian drawer.

The Batajon provide an unique tone that can be controlled by the location of the hand stick.

The Batajones are perfect for afro-Peruvian and Cuban music or any type of music where a warm punctuated tone is needed.

Each Batajon comes with a shoulder strap and a padded case.
